The Story

The Manhattan Club was said to have been where the Manhattan cocktail was originated. It was designed to be the Democratic answer to the Union Club which was organized on September 25, 1865, at Delmonico’s on 14th Street at Fifth Avenue. Its first home was the Benkard House at 96 Fifth Avenue near the corner of 15th Street. The members referred to the club as No. 96 or Old 96.

The Brand

After a thorough exercise in the brand positioning we nailed down their purpose, mission, brand values, ideal customer, and tagline. This set them up for success and consistency as they grow in the LA markets and beyond.
